FAQs

  • When do you deliver?
    We are currently delivery on Monday and Wednesday mornings between the hours of 4:00 and 7:30 am.
  • How are the meals delivered?
    Meals are delivered to your front door (unless otherwise specified) early in the morning in an insulated cooler bag that should be returned on your next delivery
  • Where do you deliver?
    The majority of our deliveries occur between Tequesta just south of West Palm Beach. If you find our service doesn't reach your zip code, drop us a line and maybe we can add it on
  • When are weekly menus posted?
    The menu for the following week will go up at 10:00 every Tuesday morning
  • When do you stop taking orders for the same week?
    We close our menu each week at 10 am on Tuesday morning, so please get your orders for Monday or Wednesday in EARLY!
  • When do you need my order and can I order in advance?
    The cutoff for Monday delivery is Sunday morning at 10:00 am. If you would like delivery later in the week, your order is due in by 10:00 am on Tuesday for Wednesday delivery. The cutoff times for pickup are the same as delivery. Once the menu for the following week is up after the 10:00 cutoff, you may place your order for the following week-or even easier, signup for a meal pack subscription to setup a recurring delivery for optimized convenience
  • Are there delivery fees?
    There are fees associated with deliveries that vary depending on your location starting at $5 as well as a $7 cooler deposit that will be returned to your account each time you place it back out to be exchanged for your next order
  • Are there ever substitutions on the menu?
    Due to the volatility of the produce and seafood market, last minute menu adjustments are inevitable. I will do whatever possible to substitute like (or better) ingredients in these situations.
  • My community has a guard gate-what do I do?
    As we have several drivers, it is very important to put The Hybrid Chef on the list at the guardhouse. Otherwise, you may receive a phone call as early as 4:30 in the morning. And unfortunately, we are not able to re-deliver so the bag will be returned to the kitchen for a pickup.
  • How do I get in touch regarding catering?
