Tim Armstrong is the Founder and Operator of The Hybrid Chef, a meal prep and delivery company in Jupiter, Florida. Tim attended The Culinary Institute of America, where he graduated with honors.
Upon graduation, Tim took his 10 years of experience in the kitchen, along with his CIA degree to New York City, where he honed his knowledge in the culinary capital of the world, working at restaurants such as Lenox Room, Petrossian and Blue Fin in Time Square. After 5 years in New York, he moved his family to Stamford, Connecticut, where he took his first Executive Chef position working for Michael Lomonaco of Windows on the World. In addition to working and consulting for restaurants in the New England area, he worked at the helm of kitchens in Charleston, South Carolina and in the West Palm Beach area of South Florida.
The hours and demands of working as a chef were not conducive to family life, so he moved to the corporate world, quickly rising to Director of Operations for Brooklyn Water Bagel, a new established franchise based in South Florida. Itching for something to call his own and unable to unleash his passion for the kitchen, his entrepreneurial mind got the best of him and the foundation for The Hybrid Chef was laid in August of 2016. Along with meal prep and delivery, The Hybrid Chef offers private and personal chef services, in-home dining, corporate catering and culinary education.
